As I have been meditating on 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 for this Sunday's message I resonated with Paul Washer's "hard words" in this address at the Deeper Conference:
We will and sometimes we will turn a chair upside down, spill a little sauce and sprinkle some fresh ground pepper over our left shoulders waiting for you to saunter in and take your place.
Our God is faithful and maybe we can get Lair to buy when you show up. Smiles
A native of Houston, Texas, Todd served as youth pastor in churches in Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma.
Todd was called as the first pastor of Metro East Baptist Church in September of 1999. In November 2008 Todd became the Teaching Pastor of Church of the Saviour in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
Following a call to the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), Todd became the Lead Pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg, VA in August of 2013.
He is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Todd and his wife, Karen, have been married since 1990 and have three children: Kate, Ryan, and Matthew.

I just wanted to thank you for posting Paul Washer's "hard words." I'll listen again.
I imagine you are busy bringing things together for Sunday. I pray that God will bless His Words from the mouth of His imperfect shepherd.
