Alone In The Garden
Take time to listen to this excellent discussion on The White Horse Inn. My experience in pastoral ministry for 20 years only confirms the observations of the panel. The American church is awash in neo-gnosticism. We have become as subjective in our approach to truth as non-believers. I know what it is like to challenge someone's spiritual experience or long held opinions about God. Too often professing Christians prefer to hold on to what they feel over what God has clearly revealed in His Word. "Don't confuse me with the Bible" is becoming the unspoken mantra of contemporary Christianity.
