In a report from the LA Times the president of the National Organization for Women (NOW) is offended by the Focus on the Family Super Bowl commercial featuring Tim Tebow and his mother Pam.
NOW president Terry O’Neill said [the Tebow ad] glorified violence against women. “I am blown away at the celebration of the violence against women in it,” she said. “That’s what comes across to me even more strongly than the anti-abortion message. I myself am a survivor of domestic violence, and I don’t find it charming. I think CBS should be ashamed of itself.”
No word from NOW on the violence that goes on against women accross the country in its abortion mills.

Yet they are stragely silent on the commercials that were overtly using women as sex objects to sell merchandise...
If I take any comfort, it is that their leadership apparently has the intellect and creativity of a 7 year old.
What an idiotic statement...
Clearly.
Yet another reason why NOW is the National Organization for an increasingly small number of Women.
Did they not see the Betty White commercial - hello, violence against elderly women??
Exactly! I was unable to sleep after the Betty White commercial. I wonder how many people have gone out and abused elderly women because of that add? I am sure it is epidemic.
