Hmmmmm

I'm honestly not sure what to think of this. On one hand, I'm very cautious when people try to "re-interpret" the Bible. God gives clear instructions about this in Deuteronomy 4:2. On the other hand, from what I see in this sample, they don't seem to be altering the message. Rather, they seem to just simplifying it and putting it into another format that might meet certain people where they are. I find myself asking if this is any worse than a "Children's Bible" which could also be described as a highly-simplified version of the same message, tailored to an immature audience.

Obviously no mature Christian should use this as a study resource, but if it gets somebody on the street (perhaps a person into comic books or highly visual learner) interested in Jesus, maybe it's served its purpose.

If I'm way off on this, please feel free to correct me. Either way, I'd love to hear your follow-up thoughts on this.
