Give her shepherds who will lead her humbly.
Give her shepherds who will understand the purpose of the church.
Give her shepherds who are committed to declaring your word.
Give her shepherds who are more concerned with faithfulness than fads.

I'm so thankful that the pastors at Metro care more about being a church who reflects the biblical model than marketing to the twenty-somethings. I am incredibly grateful that our pastors want to shepherd & strive with their people in order that we may become more Christ-like. Shepherding is not easy and I'm sure it wears on you all. Please know, you have members who pray for you regularly and we so appreciate you. I'm so blessed to be a member here. I don't know if our church is "better than other churches" but I know God is working, and I trust my shepherds to care about me even when I'm not in the "target age group."
