Emperor Peter, in essence: "I'm Confessional, but give it up as tribalism." Awful.
I really appreciated Carl's emphasis on the pastoral implications of Reformed confessionalism and its incompatibility with Rome.
Those pastoral implications are huge because, at the end of the day, we are not just talking about theological abstractions. We are talking about salvation and assurance.
