I am loving the book. It occupies a pretty unique niche (if it is possible for something to be "pretty unique"). I can't think of another book that goes from book to book of the Bible and demonstrates how each plays a part in God's story of redemption. It is very helpful.
btw, I love the work of the Alliance and Ref 21 is a great website.
Well, there you have it -- a devout Roman Catholic doing what far too many American Protestants couldn't even begin to do: shredding Ehrman's main thesis in short order.
Thanks for the info on the book. I'll definitely have to pick it up. And thanks for the shout out for the Alliance and Ref21. I've visited and enjoyed The Vine at COS in the past and am looking for a new church home, I'll have to come check out COS.
Oh my, thank you for the laughs this morning. Colbert was GREAT here.
ReplyDeleteGreat video! Colbert is always hilarious. I see you're reading "From Age to Age", are you enjoying it? Would you say its worth the read?

I'd say Bart Errorman got taken behind the woodshed. Good video.

ReplyDeleteI'm not trying to turn anybody's world upside down, but are we aware that Colbert is a satirist?
ReplyDelete...just wondering...
